ASUS Malaysia deploys flood relief program for PCs, desktops, laptops and all-in-one phones

Reflecting the movement of several consumer electronics companies, ASUS Malaysia recently announced a Flood Relief Program to provide assistance to owners of ASUS products who have been affected by the recent flooding.

As part of the program, which will run until January 31, 2022, ASUS will waive inspection and labor charges on ASUS products damaged by flooding. However, the ASUS Flood Relief Program has much stricter terms and conditions compared to similar programs from other companies.

For example, owners must be residents of Klang Valley, Pahang, Kelantan, and Terengganu. In addition, TnC also noted that it had to present a utility bill as proof of residency.

In addition to this, the program also only covers all-in-ones, desktops, laptops and smartphones that are still under warranty. Those in the Klang Valley can bring their flood damaged products to the ASUS Authorized Service Center at Plaza Low Yat, Bukit Raja Klang, or Endah Parade.

As for those residing in other eligible states, they can use the company’s Pick Up & Return service instead. For more details, you can contact ASUS Careline at 1-300-88-3495 or via its Telegram channel.
