Hyderabad: On Thursday, dialysis outlet chain NephroPlus announced that it has launched two applications “Patient App” and “Nephrologist App” to provide support to dialysis patients and nephrologists. The initiative is part of NephroPlus’ efforts to reposition its approach and the way patients and caregivers interact, the press release said.
Both mobile apps are available on Android and iOS and will provide access to important information related to patient medical histories and dialysis in general.
NephroPlus co-founder Kamal D Shah said, “We are facilitating remote interaction for our nephrologists and guests, video consultations, and reviewing and modifying dialysis prescriptions and plans, if needed. Our clients can schedule appointments, have virtual consultations with the nephrologists of their choice, get dialysis-friendly diet plans, and much-needed advice on how to live their treatments.”
