TORRINGTONOrbis Advantage Inc. received funds from Goshen’s Economic Development Progress Program through its 1/4 Cent Sales Tax Fund for Economic Development. The funds will help Orbis Advantage grow its organizational development and leadership programs.

According to the Orbis Advantage website, its mission is to “guide growing businesses, leaders of businesses and nonprofits, and the future workforce to translate vision into reality by developing growth strategies and influencing public policies ”.

The funds were awarded to Orbis Advantage to grow the e-commerce and web presence of businesses in Goshen County by providing online materials such as webinars, online courses and other digital materials. Companies can access Orbis website tools behind a paywall.

Goshen Economic Development – which includes Economic Development, Goshen County Chamber of Commerce, and Main Street – is a non-profit organization that prioritizes the retention and expansion of local businesses. Since 1987, the organization has encouraged business growth, created jobs and leveraged local community strengths in five Wyoming municipalities: Fort Laramie, LaGrange, Lingle, Torrington and Yoder.
